Houlton Maine'sTemple Theatre A Local Jewel.

It's thursday night, and I'm excited about the weekly routine of heading to the Temple Theatre for $3.50 bargain night. Went to the movie "Taken" and it was super. Two screens, neat as a pin, and all styled around the original design. You can feel the heritage, the history of this local landmark. Going to the movies. Big screen. Big silver screen. Surround sound, friends and neighbors pack the place. This is small town, local community. The owner of the Temple, Mike Hurley does a first class job. The history of Houlton Maine movie was aired on the Temple screens to celebrate the heritage of the local Southern Aroostook County area. If you are in Houlton Maine, walk downtown over the new River Front Bridge, eat at the Courtyard Cafe or The Vault. Take in a flick and take a stroll around the beautiful Victorian town of Houlton Maine.
